Welcome to Packlim (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”)!
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website https://packlim.ca/ and any related custom packaging services, design approvals, or purchases (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing our website, interacting with our platform, or placing an order, you explicitly agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you disagree with any part or condition outlined in these Terms, please refrain from using our Service.
1. Our Services & Website Use
- Specialization: Packlim specializes in premium, custom-tailored packaging solutions, including custom retail boxes, product packaging, and eco-friendly structural materials. All our packaging products are manufactured using durable, high-quality corrugated cardboard, kraft paper, cardboard, and rigid board designed for safe shipping and professional brand presentation.
- Automated Access: This website is intended for genuine commercial use. It is strictly prohibited to access or monitor the site using robots, scrapers, or other automated means. Fraudulent or misleading activities will be prosecuted.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to utilize our website or execute a purchase. By engaging with our Service, you confirm that you possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
2. Artwork Submission, Proofing & Manufacturing Rules
File Guidelines & Color Variations
- Technical Specifications: To ensure a premium print, all customer-submitted artwork files must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) and must be submitted strictly in CMYK format.
- Color Accuracy: While Packlim follows a well-equipped printing process to match submitted files as closely as possible, we cannot guarantee absolute color matches or ink density. Variations occur naturally due to monitor calibrations, distinct surface properties of different paper stocks, and neighboring ink requirements. For critical color matching, it is highly recommended that the customer provides or requests a physical hardcopy proof.
Layout Responsibility & Approvals
- Customer Responsibility: The customer is solely responsible for proofreading and approving all artwork layouts. Packlim will not be held liable for any errors, typos, grammar mistakes, or formatting omissions in customer-supplied files.
- Changes After Approval: Packlim begins setting up printing plates immediately following your formal confirmation. Once design approval is given, any modifications to the layout will incur extra manufacturing charges. We reserve the right to refuse any design that falls below our quality standards or is deemed inappropriate.
Overruns and Underruns
- Quantity Variance: Due to the nature of industrial manufacturing, we normally deliver the exact quantity ordered, plus a small additional quantity in some bulk cases at no extra charge. Underruns are highly unlikely; however, we strongly advise customers to order an extra 5% to 10% in quantity to completely eliminate the risk of an operational shortfall.
3. Intellectual Property & Customer Content Boundaries
- Copyright Responsibility: When you submit artwork to Packlim, you warrant that you own or have permission to use all included text, images, designs, trademarks, or copyrighted elements. Using unauthorized copyrighted materials can subject the user to serious legal actions.
- Unlawful or Indecent Content: The context of your printed packaging depends entirely on you. If a design contains indecent, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, scandalous, obscene, or unlawful information, Packlim will not be held liable for copyright infringement or content errors.
4. Ordering, Currencies & Payments
- Currency: Depending on your commercial location and checkout profile, pricing and transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
- Payment Terms: Full payment—including all product charges must clear before structural engineering, digital layout setups, custom plate-making, or production begins.
- Payment Gateways: We accept secure online payments through reputable payment gateways, including:
- Stripe
- Credit Cards / Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Apple Pay

5. Shipping & Logistics Policy
- Coverage & Cost: We provide Free Shipping Services.
- Transit Times: Standard delivery typically spans 4 to 6 business days after the industrial manufacturing cycle is finalized.

- Damaged Shipments: If your package arrives damaged, capture high-resolution photos immediately and notify sales@packlim.ca within 48 hours of delivery for a technical replacement evaluation.
6. Tiered Order Cancellation Policy
Because our engineering and manufacturing setup starts immediately after order finalization, cancellation refunds are calculated using a strict time-based window:
- Within 4 Hours of Confirmation: Customers may request order cancellations or layout amendments without penalty.
- After 4 Hours (but under 24 hours): Cancellations carry a 20% charge of the total order amount to cover our initial plate-making setups and processing loss.
- Within 24 Hours (Production Prep Phase): If an order cancellation request is processed during advanced preparation within the first 24 hours, it will be accompanied by a 50% deduction of the total order amount.
- After Production Starts: Once active physical manufacturing or printing has officially kicked off, cancellations cannot be authorized or refunded.
